Diego Maradona is a (former) football player from Argentina, who shares the FIFA Player of the Century award with Pelé after finishing first in a FIFA internet poll on the best football player of the 20th century

A = 1, E = 5, I = 9, O = 6, U = 3, W* = 5 and Y* = 7
NOTICE:
* The letter “W” is also treated as a vowel when it is preceded by a vowel and it also produces a single sound; this is for example applicable for the name: ‘Mathew’ (a=1, e=5, w=5 => makes 1+5+5=11 => 1+1=2; SOUL URGE NUMBER=2).
* The letter “Y” is also treated as a vowel when it makes a vowel sound or when is used in place of a vowel or when there is no other vowel in a syllable; or when preceded by a vowel but it does have its own sound; this is for example applicable for the names: Lynn (Y=7; makes: 7; SOUL URGE NUMBER=7), and Harry (A=1, Y=7; makes 1+7=8; SOUL URGE NUMBER=8: ).

Why is ÍNGRID BETANCOURT famous?
Íngrid Betancourt Pulecio is a Colombian-French politician, former senator and anti-corruption activist who was kidnapped by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) on 23 February 2002. Six and a half years later she was rescued from captivity (along with 14 other hostages) during a spectacular action by Colombian security forces (who claim to have tricked the FARC) on 2 July 2008.
Íngrid Betancourt was born in Bogotá, Colombia. Her mother, Yolanda Pulecio, is a former Miss Colombia who later served in Congress representing poor southern neighborhoods of Bogotá. Her father, Gabriel Betancourt, was minister for the General Gustavo Rojas Pinilla dictatorship (1953-1957), ambassador of Colombia to UNESCO in Paris, and head of the education commission of the Alliance for Progress in Washington, D.C. under John F. Kennedy. In 1989, Luis Carlos Galán, a candidate for the Colombian presidency running on an anti-drug-trafficking platform, was assassinated. Betancourt’s mother was a supporter of Galán, and was standing immediately behind him when he was shot; this event motivated Ingrid Betancourt to return to Colombia herself in 1989.
She was elected to the Chamber of Representatives in 1994. She launched her presidential campaign on 20 May 2001. On 23 February 2002 during her journey to reach San Vicente del Caguan, the village used for the peace talks, Ingrid Betancourt dismissed warnings to stop her journey and later that day she was captured and kidnapped by the FARC.
