HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR SOUL URGE NUMBER?:

You can calculate your ‘SOUL URGE NUMBER’ (sometimes called: ‘soul number‘) by summing the numeric values of the VOWELS in your full name, with the following number values for each of the vowel letters:

A = 1, E = 5, I = 9, O = 6, U = 3, W* = 5 and Y* = 7

NOTICE:

* The letter “W” is also treated as a vowel when it is preceded by a vowel and it also produces a single sound; this is for example applicable for the name: ‘Mathew’ (a=1, e=5, w=5 => makes 1+5+5=11 => 1+1=2; SOUL URGE NUMBER=2).

* The letter “Y” is also treated as a vowel when it makes a vowel sound or when is used in place of a vowel or when there is no other vowel in a syllable; or when preceded by a vowel but it does have its own sound; this is for example applicable for the names: Lynn (Y=7; makes: 7; SOUL URGE NUMBER=7), and Harry (A=1, Y=7; makes 1+7=8; SOUL URGE NUMBER=8: ).
So, the letter “Y” is not a vowel in the following names: Yves (e=3; makes 3; SOULNUMBER=3) and any other name where it makes the consonant Y sound.
